A WORD FROM Mr. FRANK HABINEZA

My sincere gratitude is owed to my lovely Aunt June Anna Nagenda, who insigated into me the significance of conservation,by making me love nature throught my childhood , she used to show me the drizzles of rain behind the verandah, and she could tell me how nice it was, ididnt know but i found my self liking it,when birds could sing she could call me and tell me to attentively listen to the music and we could get words from it,it was surely lovely,we could watch birds swiming in a round stone which had been put for them at the corner of the garden with water always full, and iwas shown the beauty of sky when it was coming to evening, and  they used to be abig snake which was tourtured by people passing around, trying to kill it by throwing bunches of trees and stones in abig tree it had shelter, she used to stop them telling them the snake was there for many years and had never harmed any body, ahhh they thought she was crazy, not until i also started refusing them harshly,so they said if you want peace leave June and Franks  snake alone.

Until  I became amember of the Wildlife Clubs of Uganda, ididnt know i would be of much use to the land of a thousand hills, now am happy to be among those promoting nature conservation and tourism in Rwanda.
